I think i fixed the problem after playing with the cookie settings. You may need to delete your browsers cookies, and make sure to check the "Log me on automatically each visit" box when you login.

If you are still experience problems let me know.

Clearing out the old Minnescraper cookies fixed it!

Thanks!

What browser are you using? I haven't noticed much of a problem myself. Does anyone else find the site unbearably slow? We'll look into and see if there is anything causing a slowdown. Sorry for the inconvenience and the late response its been a busy couple of days.

I would like to know what all of the images mean next to topics? Some have scrolling text, some a red asterisk.... what's the secret behind these little gadgets?

Can we lose the "or lack thereof" in the description of the transportation forum? It's bugged me for years because it seems needlessly snarky given that MSP objectively has very robust transportation options.

I believe if a icon has scrolling text it indicates that the topic is popular (has a high number of views) If an icon is red it means there is a new post that has yet to be read.

Why doesn't the search function function? When I try to look for a keyword, no results found. I've tried even very simple keywords. It's difficult to navigate posting news when you have to hand search the forums to see if a topic exists anywhere.

I've also failed using the search function -- I just assumed that meant there wasn't a topic, even though I was pretty sure there had been.

I believe the topics and post index were not correctly transferred in the search database. Meaning posts that were posted before the forum switch over may not be indexed for search. I'll try and look for a way to re-aggregate this data to the search database but I can't promise anything.

I'll look into it though 8)

My request is to remove the Trojan from the homepage, or so my computer claims.

We'll look into it. I haven't had any problems personally, and according to Google Webmaster Tools, they have not detected any malware on the site. Has anyone else had any problems? When did your computer warn you about the Trojan?

Update: I may have found the problem, looks like there were a set of comments on the main page spamming cheap prescription drugs with links to some rather shady websites. I've deleted them and added several spam and security updates to the main page and WordPress. My guess is that it was those links which were causing your computer to warn you. After deleting the links I ran a malware scan and everything came back looking good :D Sorry about the inconvenience though! Your comment brought back some not so friendly memories of the malware that had plagued the site in the past. Thanks for the heads up!
